Typical speeds are 1.5Mbps down, 256Kbps up. This kit is transportable. It would be ideal for a field expedition or disaster preparation kit. I would not recommend using it for RV touring unless you are highly technical and mechanically inclined. The setup and aiming are manual. It is highly recommended that the new owner be fully trained by your local Starband Dealer to be a certified installer. It takes a fair amount of skill to get the unit set up, plumb, level and aimed correctly at the satellite in question. The kit comes with a satellite finder (bird dog) unit that helps identify the satellite you are pointed at and the signal strength.
