I have no method of testing the battery's life, however, so it is included as-is. It is capable of testing upstream spectrum analysis, ingress resistance, analog and digital frequencies, BER, MER, QAM, tilt, the modem emulation (return function), and it will operate with an LST to perform FDR scans to find cable faults and breaks.  This is a perfect meter for getting started in a system with a running return path, which are becoming more and more prevalent... This meter also includes a complete AC charger purchased new directly from JDSU for nearly $200.This meter is sold AS-IS, used, no returns. I am not advertising this as a brand-new meter, and you are likely not here looking for one (especially at these prices).
